Employment

Upper Mississippi Academy believes that learning is a lifelong, collaborative experience that teachers should embark on every day.

Employment at UMA encourages “teachers as designers” and looks for teachers who are interested in embracing new challenges without fear of failure and who encourage their students to do the same. We look for teachers and staff members who are active, continuous learners and want to grow in their practice with input from students, colleagues, and community.

UMA offers a competitive salary structure and benefits package, collaborative planning time every other Friday (student release days), the opportunity to design and publish your own curriculum, the chance to be outside every day of the year, and the ability to make a difference in how our children are educated. Join us at our new location in downtown St. Paul!
