This is Dave’s 7th year at UMA. He joined us from Paideia Academy where he was also a paraprofessional. Prior to Paideia, Dave was working in Law Enforcement and Security.

Dave attended Northland College in Ashland, WI and graduated with a Bachelors degree in Environmental Studies with a minor in History. He also received an Associates degree from Metropolitan State in Law Enforcement in 2008.

In Dave’s free time he enjoys camping, reading, traveling, watching movies, and spending time with his three boys. Dave’s favorite color is green, favorite drink is Chai Tea, and favorite fruits are watermelon, blueberries, and bing cherries. He’s not sure he has a favorite candy since all candy is good and therefore bad. Speaking of soda, Dave is trying to not drink soda. “I do love myself some good movie popcorn though!”

Dave, who currently lives in Rosemount, Minnesota, where he is a volunteer firefighter, is looking forward to continuing with the UMA family, getting to know new students, and helping all students grow and learn.
