Hi, my name is Dani and I’ll be the school social worker at Upper Mississippi Academy starting this year. I use she/her pronouns. I moved up to the cities from a small town farm for college and fell in love with the twin cities from there. I went to Hamline University for undergrad and studied criminal justice, psychology, and legal studies. I then took a year off from school and started my career working at an adult homeless shelter. I continued working there through getting my masters in social work from the University of St Thomas. In my spare time I love reading, binge watching shows, going to concerts, and spending time with my pets Prince (my Great Dane puppy) and Galileo (my Maine coon mix cat). I’m excited to meet you all throughout the rest of the school year!
