UMA Costa Rica Trip 2024

The UMA High School Costa Rica 2024 trip is live! In order to participate, travelers must be an enrolled UMA high school student during the trip March 29, 2024 – April 7, 2024 (but you do not need to be in Spanish class). Let’s get to answering your first questions:

  • Familiarize yourself, read, and click around at our trip’s website
  • Traveler & parent/guardian must read & sign UMA’s Behavior Contract, Student Rules & Regulations (if you sign up for trip, it is assumed that this has been read)
  • Traveler will need a passport booklet (but US passport holders do not need a visa for CR)
  • Protect your investment with Explorica’s Travel Plan or Travel Plan PLUS (highly recommended)
  • Trip price rises as we get closer to our departure date, sign up as early as possible
  • Our trip price includes all of the optionals you see in our travel itinerary (we don’t want to miss out on anything)
  • There is a monthly payment plan option for this trip via Explorica
  • Utilize traveler’s personal fundraising page via Explorica (great for the holiday season)
  • Check into Explorica’s Financial Assistance for yourself (confidential application)
  • Multiple Heggies Pizza fundraisers leading up to the trip with Nordwall (must be signed up for the trip to participate, and raised funds go directly to Explorica accounts only)
