Listening SessionsSally Spreeman
Students and Families – Thanks to everyone in the UMA community for your support and ideas as we move into the next stage of planning for the 20-21 school year. After the release of information on Thursday by the Minnesota Department of Education (MDE), Minnesota Department of Health (MDH), and the Governor’s office, we are ready to set up some family and student conversations.
There will be multiple listening sessions available with a capacity of 250 logins per session. All sessions will be recorded so that questions and information can be reviewed, and those not able to participate can listen to the discussion at a later time.
I understand that many families filled out a survey last spring, but many of our situations have changed since then. This is a way to be heard in the current scenario and to ask new questions.
The dates/times that are available to families and students with the Google Meet links have been emailed to all families and students. If you did not receive an email from UMA, please reach out to the office to confirm your family contact information. The recordings will be available only to registered UMA families/students after each session.
