Someone’s cooking in the kitchen with Dina and it’s UMA students.   The Edible Schoolyard Pathway is a hands-on experience in a real kitchen and in our new culinary classroom that now includes a cozy gathering space to socialize while eating.  In Culinary classes, students learn where food comes from, the history of ingredients, how to prepare wholesome and healthy dishes, and gain an appreciation for ALL food groups — including obscure vegetables students never thought they would eat! Conference Time

We look forward to visits with families and students on Wednesday, October 15 from 1:30-8:30 (staff dinner break from 5:15-6:00 pm) and Thursday, October 16 from 8:30-12:30.  If a meeting time has not already been arranged, teachers will be available on a first come basis.
