Happenings this Week: March 11, 2019

Tuesday, March 12 Juniors will be taking the ACT this Tuesday from 9:30 a.m. – 12:45 p.m. This is a rescheduled date due to an earlier snow day. All 11th graders who are taking the test should report directly to the gym. Students will be finished with the test before lunch and are expected to attend regularly scheduled afternoon classes. Happenings this Week: March 4, 2019

Wednesday, March 6 8th-grade students have been touching on a variety of themes throughout their Geography and Language Arts classes, from immigration to refugee policies around the globe. Monday, February 11 The PTO will hold a meeting at 6:30 p.m. at UMA. Thursday, February 14 7th graders are going to the Minnesota History Center as part of their U.S. History and Language Arts classes' focus on the Civil War.  Students will learn about the involvement of Minnesotans in the war through a guided lesson from museum staff.  Additionally, they will have a chance to explore the rest of the museum and its various featured exhibits. UMA Announces New Home

We are excited to share the news that UMA has found a permanent home in downtown St. Paul at 19 East Exchange Street. We will be located in the space formerly occupied by McNally Smith School of Music and will share our building with the History Theatre.
