Joclyn Teidt

Social Worker

Joclyn is very excited to join the UMA school community this year as a School Social Worker. She incorporates trauma-informed, empowerment, and anti-oppression perspectives into her social work practice and is always eager to learn. Joclyn believes that students have incredible voices and ideas and hopes to enhance those skills for every student. She holds a Master of Social Work degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and has moved to the Twin Cities from Madison, WI after living there for her entire life.

Grateful for the opportunity to join this wonderful community, Joclyn hopes to get to know all the students, staff, families, and community partners so that she can serve students in ways that are most helpful. She welcomes any and all recommendations for things to do/eat in the Twin Cities and wishes everyone a great year!
