Brian Nagel

Visual Arts

Brian has been working in education for six years in various roles and responsibilities. This year is Brian’s first year as a full-time visual arts teacher here at UMA.

Brian received his BFA in studio arts from Iowa State University in 2009 and his teaching license from Concordia University in 2016. Brian has been involved in the local art scene as an artist, organizer, and small gallery operator. He has been displaying his work around the Twin Cities and throughout the Midwest in coffee shops, galleries, and museums. He looks forward to bringing his experience in the arts to the classroom and to being able to share his knowledge in drawing, painting, and printmaking with the students.
